The manaaki of our previous generations is with us as we move into the future. Our duty of care comes from the past and extends into the future, just like the covenants made between God and Abraham. This is probably the most significant way manaakitanga travels over space and time, and it is our responsibility to remember that and live lives worthy of this potential.
